The first thing you should do is put your shirt on.

No shirt, no shoes, no problem

The first thing you should do is put your shirt on.

When shooting a pistol in the desert it’s recommended by experts universally that you should wear a shirt and shoes. My nephew didn’t heed this sage advice. I though it was an interesting thing so I photographed it.

I thought to myself. “Maybe he’ll get a burning hot shell on his belly or between his toes (he was wearing flip-flops).” “I’ll be there to get the hilarious photo of him dancing around.”

I took this photograph and then he squeezed off five rounds. The burning hot shells landed on my head. One landed on the back of my neck (my head was bowed looking through my Rolleiflex) and rolled down my shirt.

The first thing you should do is predict where the burning hot shells will go.

  1. It’s funny that you were hoping Wes would learn a lesson here cuz I’m always hoping he’ll learn from not so good choices and it usually ends up just like it did for you!
