A letter to my wife:
I am the father of your children. They are my flesh and blood. They have my eyes, nose, skin and toes. I am their daddy.
I’ll walk with you through the toddler years. I’ll wipe faces and change diapers.
I’ll be beside you during the elementary years. Through the homework, trouble with friends and struggle to find out who they are.
I’ll be your partner through the teenage years. Heaven help us both.
I’ll celebrate their weddings and our grandchildren with you. I can’t wait to meet them.
They’ll always call me Daddy and I call them “angel”, “buddy”, “schmeekers” and “baby”.
There are my life and the life I share with you. We are a family.
Love,
Jon
