A letter to my wife:
I am the father of your children. They are my flesh and blood. They have my eyes, nose, skin and toes. I am their daddy.
I’ll walk with you through the toddler years. I’ll wipe faces and change diapers.
I’ll be beside you during the elementary years. Through the homework, trouble with friends and struggle to find out who they are.
I’ll be your partner through the teenage years. Heaven help us both.
I’ll celebrate their weddings and our grandchildren with you. I can’t wait to meet them.
They’ll always call me Daddy and I call them “angel”, “buddy”, “schmeekers” and “baby”.
There are my life and the life I share with you. We are a family.
I am a lucky woman.
You guys are awesome!!!
So sweet Jon! Luv it! and I love you all SOOOOO much!
The ground just moved beneath me…I can absolutely feel the loving vibration in his words, thanks for sharing!
AAAWWWWW! So sweet! Love it and you!
You’re right Sam. You told Brooke and I to read this yesterday and I’m glad we did.
