A big thing in landscape photography is the horizon line. You need to have that line perfectly horizontal. A hallmark of unprofessional landscape photography is the slanted horizon.

Craig Law, my Utah State professor, would throw mounted prints across the room if the horizon line wasn’t strait. That guy was awesome.
