When it snows a few inches the kids want to make a snowman. I’m the muscle behind the snowman rolling and lifting. The kids gather hats, gloves, sticks and rocks and a carrot for the face. This snowman had a unique feature. He had a neck. I thought it was more lifelike.
As we made the snowman the kids thought he was really big. Jack told me that it’d probably last until spring.
Two weeks later he was finished.
A song from the kids at church
Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman.
Once there was a snowman tall, tall, tall.
In the sun he melted, melted, melted.
In the sun he melted small, small, small.
