Does it feel like the road you’re on is rough and windy? Is it going to an unknown destination?
It’s unnerving to be on a road that shows you little of where it’s headed.
Zach, my brother and I, are working on a new business; Dental newsletters. It’s random, I know, but we feel good about it. I love photography, love the process of making photographs and the excitement of creating beautiful works of art for people. But the industry has undergone some significant changes in the last few years and I find myself wanting to diversify my career options.
We (Zach and I) are trying to produce newsletters for dentists to send to their patients to keep in contact with them. It’s difficult to make newsletters on your own-writing and getting a layout and mailing them so we are going to do it for them. We selected dentistry because it’s an industry that needs marketing and promotion but is organized and plentiful. There are lots of dentists!
What do we know about dentistry? Nothing. But we only need 7 articles at a time so we research the topics and do our best to write them in a compelling way. It won’t be too long and we’ll have a decent article library. It’s a little weird and we get twinges of fear in our belly’s all the time. It’s a new road for both of us.
An unknown road, an unknown destination. Wish us luck.
I wish you luck, but I know you will succeed. You are an amazing person who can accomplish more than anyone. I love you. Thanks for the crazy ride.
