Landscape: Pathway photographs

The pathway to somewhere

I almost can’t help myself. If I see a scene with a pathway I take a photograph.

It must be the visual tug of a gentle diagonal line running from the bottom right corner to the middle.

Or maybe its the idea of a new path, a journey at our feet. It’s irresistable to me.

The worlds first bestselling book Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales was such a hit because it was a story about a journey they say. There is nothing new under the sun. I guess if I was around in the 14th century I’d have purchased a copy of it at my local bookseller.
